HDR Light Studio Version 1.5
Installation & Licensing Instructions

Run the HDR Light Studio installer.
By default the software will be installed into the C:\Program Files\Lightmap\HDR Light Studio xxx V1.5 folder
(where xxx is the version purchased).

For the screenshots below we installed HDR Light Studio Standard into its default directory.

IMPORTANT: HDR Light Studio is only licensed to run on a single PC under a single Windows User Account,
therefore you must be logged on to the end users account before continuing.

Note for Windows Vista users: Please make sure the folder where HDR Light Studio is installed has full read/write permissions.

Note for Windows 7 users: You must have write permissions for your hdrlightstudio directory. To do this, right click on the hdrlightstudio directory, click on the security tab, then click the Edit button and select the correct group or user name (typically Users) and make sure the "Full Control" row has "Allow" set.


Run HDR Light Studio to generate a user license key called HDRLS_User_xxx.key (where xxx is the version purchased)
in the main HDR Light Studio installation folder .

Log in to your account at the Lightmap Shop and under Purchased Products locate your HDR Light Studio product.

You must first add the name and email address of the Registered User using the Create/Change User link.
The email address entered here will be used to send information on licensing and software updates.
Please make sure your spam filter will allow emails from the Lightmap domain.

Once the Registered User has been set, upload your user key file using the Upload User Key Here link.

Once we have received your user key, we will generate a unique license key to fully enable your software.
Note: this can take up to 24 hours. The Registered User will receive an email when this license key has been generated and ready for download, and once done can be retrieved at any time from the Purchased Products page in the My Account area of the website.

Download this license key to your main HDR Light Studio installation folder alongside your user key.

Congratulations your installation is now complete.
You can check the status of any of your licenses under the License Management item on the Help menu of HDR Light Studio.
